O’Ban invites 28th District residents to participate in tele-town hall meeting

Screen-Shot-2013-01-23-at-10_33_44-PMDon’t miss your chance to connect with Washington State Sen. Steve O’Ban at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, March 20. O’Ban will call thousands of households around the 28th Legislative District with an invitation to participate in a live, interactive telephone town hall meeting.

During the hour-long event, participants can ask questions of O’Ban, provide feedback on state and local issues, and learn more about what happened during the 2014 legislative session.

Only those with landlines will receive a phone call, so residents wanting to participate via cell phone or from somewhere other than their home must call toll-free 1-877-229-8493 and enter the access code 112578. The lines will be active about 10 minutes before the town hall begins.

“If you can’t participate in my telephone town hall meeting, I encourage you to contact me directly by e-mail, phone or in person,” said O’Ban. “As always, it’s a pleasure to represent you in the Washington State Senate and I look forward to hearing from you Thursday!”

O’Ban added that not only are telephone town hall meetings like these a bargain for taxpayers, they are convenient as callers can participate from the comfort of their own homes.
