O’Ban, Muri invite public to opening of new district legislative office

To better serve Pierce County residents, Sen. Steve O’Ban and Rep. Dick Muri are opening a 28th District legislative office in University Place. The public is invited to attend an open house and meet their new Senator and Representative from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

“We want the people we represent to know that they have a united team working on their behalf and we are available to help them with any issues or questions they may have,” said O’Ban. “We hope people will drop by to introduce themselves and visit our local office at the open house on October 26.”

“Even though Pierce County is relatively close to Olympia, we are only in Olympia a few months out of the year,” said Muri. “A district office makes it much more convenient for people to share their concerns and feel like they are a part of what’s happening with our state government.”

Individuals who would like to meet with O’Ban are encouraged to call his district office at (253) 566-5744 or his Olympia office at (360) 786-7654. Appointments with Muri may be made by calling (253) 566-5652.
